Scenic Cruises
One of the most popular things to see and learn about St. Augustine is to climb aboard St. Augustine’s famous cruise vessel, The Victory III. Guided by 3rd and 4th generation captains from the Usina Family, St. Augustine Scenic Cruises has been operating and sailing since the early 1900’s.

Owned and operated by the Usina Family, whose ancestors came from Minorca, an island in the Mediterranean just off the coast of Spain where many settlers to St. Augustine came from in 1777, the St. Augustine Scenic Cruise typically begins downtown at the St. Augustine Municipal Marina. Each cruise takes you along the Matanzas River, through the Matanzas Bay and St. Augustine Inlet and finally to Salt Run. Running each day except for Christmas Day, the St. Augustine Scenic Cruises run on a timed schedule, departing 4 times with additional cruises available in the summer. Each St. Augustine Scenic Cruise lasts an hour and fifteen minutes and the company can accept Discover, Visa and MasterCard.

Be sure to bring your camera along on the St. Augustine Scenic Cruise as you’ll have a chance to take pictures and learn about historical landmarks such as the Bridge of Lions, the St. Augustine Bayfront, the Castillo de San Marcos, the Landmark Cross, the St. Augustine Lighthouse, and Ponce de Leon’s famous Fountain of Youth.

Bird Watchers will delight in seeing the native birds fly by as you cruise along the bay. On your St. Augustine Scenic Cruise you’ll have a chance to see heron, pelicans, cormorants, and sea gulls as they fly over the gorgeous palm trees and abundant oyster beds. Every now and then cruisers get a special treat as sometimes dolphins will swim alongside the boat and help guide your journey.

The Victory III St. Augustine Scenic Cruise Ship is available for charters and large groups, with group rates available. This year visitors are welcomed to enjoy the St. Augustine July 4th Fireworks Cruise aboard the Victory III and the November 22 Nights of Lights, two very special St. Augustine things to do.
